He appeared in Town Court with counsel for arraignment yesterday where he was released on his own recognizance. Dareus is due back in court June 17th, at 10:00 a.m.’

‘Hughes would not comment Tuesday on whether he was involved, though he professed that when Dareus returned to the team, “I just know that when he gets back he’s going to be ready to play football and he’s going to hit the field full speed and he’s going to wreak havoc. That’s all that I can really speak on. Knowing him for going on a second year and knowing him as a player I know he’s going to come back full speed.”‘

‘With so many different starters not being able to participate in team drills, many players got some first-team experience throughout the first week.’

‘When asked if Dareus will remain on the team Marrone said, “Yes he’s on the team because I think we have a responsibility to try to help him and every case is different. If it comes from above me that we’re done, then we’re done, but as far as I’m concerned, I’m going to help someone until I feel it’s not right.”‘
