‘Jets 23, Bills 22.’

‘Geno Smith knows his limitations as a clear second option in the offense for the run-centric Jets. New York’s physicality on the line — offense and defense — dooms the Bills but EJ Manuel makes enough plays to keep the game tight.’

‘With the bye week right around the corner, the Bills may be playing it safe with both of their top wide receivers. That will leave only T.J. Graham, Marquise Goodwin, Chris Hogan and Marcus Easley as the healthy receivers on the active roster. Marrone said the team talked about potentially calling up someone at that position, but ultimately declined to do so in favor of having three tight ends and one speedier fullback in Evan Rodriguez.’

‘According to the team, there are still approximately 3,500 tickets remaining for the team’s second game against their division rivals. The Bills now have until Friday at 1 pm to sell the remaining tickets. If they do not, the game will not be seen on local television.’

‘”I just go into the game when I’m told to go into the game,” Spiller said Wednesday, declining an opportunity to speak out about his somewhat surprising lack of use. “I’m just frustrated that we’re on a three-game losing streak. I’m not frustrated with the amount of touches, I’m just sick and tired of the losing.”‘

‘Like I told the players, feet, hands and head, keep that stuff warm and you’re in good shape,” he said. He then went on to explain why the team was outside on such a blustery day. “When we play at home, and with the wind and weather, I like to practice outside,” he said. “The only way we wouldn’t is if it became a situation where you couldn’t really get a lot out of it.”‘
