Buffalo Bills QB Thad Lewis comes home to Miami
‘”It’s awesome to be able to come back,” said Lewis, who is 0-2 as an NFL starter. “They always say the quarterback position is one that leads, so you just want to show everyone that you belong in this league. It means a lot playing in the NFL, period. It’s just extra to get to go home and play in front of people you know and people that know you. It is a great opportunity.”‘

5 things to watch in Bills – Dolphins
‘It’s going to be a tough act for the Bills to fly down to Miami and upend a mending Dolphins team that is coming off their bye week. The struggles on the road for Buffalo have been well-recorded, with them not having a victory away from Ralph Wilson Stadium since October 14, 2012. It’s a hurdle to clear and a very important step for Buffalo as they try to progress as a young team, and this is their best chance to do it in the month of October. It will likely be a close contest that will come down to which quarterback can overcome the pass rush of their opponents most effectively, and although not an extraordinary talent, Tannehill and his ability to throw under pressure will ultimately be the difference in the game.’
Kicker Carpenter scores on rebound with Bills
‘”I think he’s done an outstanding job in a rough situation,” said Bills special teams coach Danny Crossman. “He hadn’t been here, he’s working with new guys, and he had an interesting end of training camp, being with several teams for a very short period of time. He has come here and just been a true pro.”‘
Look for Spiller to see more action
‘Spiller played only 17 plays against the Bengals. But he got 12 touches and produced 66 yards. Fred Jackson played 50 plays against Cleveland and 39 against the Bengals.’
Mike Wallace: Dolphins need to run the ball more
‘The Dolphins are one of only five NFL clubs who are throwing at least two passes for every running play so far this season, and those teams have a combined 8-19 record.’
Q&A with Dolphins beat writer Andrew Abramson
‘Tannehill’s accuracy and demeanor have improved since his rookie season. He seems to have command of the huddle and he’s been cool under pressure, including a beautifully-executed game winning drive against Atlanta in week three. However, his deep ball still needs work and his pocket presence has not been impressive.’
Miami Hurricanes legend Jim Kelly returns to South Florida ñ and he’s still battling
Bills’ Mario Williams could give Dolphins’ offensive line fits
‘”He’s one of the most talented defensive ends in the NFL,” Dolphins left tackle Jonathan Martin said. “We played him last year and he’s a beast, no question about it.”‘
Jordan And Bills LB Alonso Were College Roommates
‘”That’s my guy and I lived with him for a long time and I saw the work that he put in,” said Jordan, who was a disruptive force himself for the Ducks. “It’s starting to pay off and I wouldn’t be surprised at the end of this year if he’s one of the top rookies. I kind of expect it from him and he expects it out of me, too.”‘
Five Keys To Beating Buffalo
‘The Bills have a one-two punch at running back with C.J. Spiller and Fred Jackson, and the Buffalo running game ranks third in the entire league, averaging 148.8 yards per contest.’

Bills are Dolphins’ 1st intradivision opponent
‘Buffalo is 0-2 this year against division opponents, and 6-26 since 2008 – but three of those victories have come versus the Dolphins. And despite their injuries, young roster and new coaching staff, the Bills have exceeded expectations so far.’
