‘I’m picking the Bills to win, but am very cautious in doing so.’

Backers make gamedays their own in Jacksonville
‘Co-president of the Jacksonville Backers Bob Hoppe says the relationship they’ve developed with owners at their gameday spot, Wing-It Restaurant and Sports Pub, has not only enabled them to make unique menu requests but to create other traditions that get these Backers excited on gamedays. “We’ve developed a connection with the place,” Hoppe says. “We can get loud and rowdy and we don’t have to worry about it.”‘
Bills run ‘D’ stiffening
‘In the last two weeks alone, Buffalo allowed an average of only 2.75 yards per carry in a win against Miami and a loss to Indianapolis, marking the first time this year the defense has had back-to-back games of allowing less than 100 yards rushing. The Bills held the Dolphins and Colts to 60 and 87 yards on the ground, respectively. The last time Buffalo had back to back games of allowing less than 90 on the ground was in Week 1 and 2 of 2009.’
Confessions of a frustrated Bills fan
‘How can one franchise (the Colts) turn things around in just one season while another (the Bills) goes through season after season of futility?’
Owner gives Jaguars a global perspective
Report of contract talks is news to Byrd
‘”If everything works out, I have no problems with Buffalo,” Byrd said. “But I know around this time, it’s about business.”‘
NFL blackout policy casts wide net
‘This means Bills home games are blacked out in the Buffalo; Rochester; Syracuse; Erie, Pa.; Hamilton, Ont.; and Toronto TV markets, Masonson said.’
Andy Levitre a rock-solid contributor for Buffalo Bills
‘”He’s played great for us,” said center Eric Wood, who joined the Bills the same year as Levitre. “We’ve asked him to play different positions and he’s done it, and he plays at a high level, even at left tackle. He’s a great guy to have on the line, a really dependable and consistent player.”‘
Hamilton man in a coma in Buffalo has no insurance
‘Robert Sitter is a life-long Buffalo Bills fan – a Bills tattoo over his heart kind of fan. When he travelled from Hamilton for a game two weeks ago, he didn’t buy travel insurance. He’d made the same trip countless times before and would be gone just a night. Sitter, 31, was hit by a taxi as he and his friend crossed the street leaving the stadium on Nov. 15. He’s been in a coma in a Buffalo hospital for two weeks.’
Jaguars coach Mike Mularkey mum about his departure from Buffalo
‘”I really haven’t talked about why I left there,” he said. “I’m probably not going to tell anybody, now or ever. That’s a personal matter and I’m going to leave it at that.”‘

Bills WR Jones may miss game vs. Jacksonville
”’Donald Jones has had some tightness in his calf,” coach Chan Gailey said on Friday, ”and we keep trying to get it out but we haven’t been able to do that yet. So he didn’t practice.”’
Report: Bills talking to Byrd
‘”I honestly don’t know. I talked to my agent, but we really haven’t talked about that, but he’ll tell me what’s going on.”‘
Never would’ve thought we’d be talking about Henne
‘The biggest thing in winning this game is I’m confident Mularkey will have a game plan that will have holes in it. It’ll be a game plan that even Gailey and Ryan Fitzpatrick should be able to attack. With a calf injury to Donald Jones, we may see more of Brad Smith, Ruvell Martin or Marcus Easley, but that shouldn’t even matter. We have a coach who is not capable of adjusting a game plan during a game. That is the reason HE gives for not playing his two best offensive weapons at the same time, C.J. Spiller and Fred Jackson. He never had to say it, all you have to do is watch the games and you know he has no idea how to adjust his game plan. So since Ruvell Martin could maybe see as many snaps as Spiller, I wonder if maybe Mularkey is the better coach.’
Bills’ Jones not at practice
‘”He’s had tightness in his calf and we keep trying to get it out, but we haven’t been able to do that yet.” He’s listed as questionable. Jones has missed a lot of practice this week, be according to Gailey, he’ll play if he can, “Missing practices like he has, parts of two and an entire one, it hurts us, but if he can play, he’d know what to do, that’s not an issue.”‘
