‘Buffalo claimed the guard off waivers right before the 2010 season. He’s been a two year starter for the Bills at guard and occasionally at center.’

Bills’ claim they’re preparing correctly
‘When I asked about if the preparations are flawed, Gailey really didn’t want to answer the question, “We evaluate everything at the end of the season. I try not to vary too much from the course during the season itself. I think the players get into a habit of the certain ways that you prepare. It’s been successful in the past, so I tend not to evaluate during the season, but make those kinds of changes during the offseason if need be.”‘
Bills Gailey ”I thought we’d turned the corner”
‘If the effort is still there according to the Head Coach, is it possible the players have stopped listening to him? Gailey said he doesn’t feel that is the case. “I’ve been fortunate in my career that wherever we went to turn something around or to keep it going, we’ve always been able to do that. This is new territory for me too, going this long without winning. This is hard for me too. I’m not used to it. No, I don’t think the message is falling on deaf ears and I think they understand what we are trying to get done, we’re just not getting it done.”‘
Bills’ Moats done for the year
‘Marcus Easley got hurt playing special teams. Gailey said, “Marcus has a hamstring, he’ll definitely be out this week and we’ll see if we can get him back for the last game or not.”‘
Chan Gailey: We have to get better
‘We evaluate everything at the end of the season. I try not to vary too much from the course during the season itself. I think the players get into a habit of the certain ways that you prepare. It has been successful in the past, so I tend not to evaluate during the season but make those kinds of changes during the offseason if need be.’
Ryan Fitzpatrick: It is not because of a lack of effort
‘I know we are putting in the work. I know the coaches in terms of the way they are grinding right now with the game plan and the way the players are in here watching film on Tuesday. Then the way practice has gone Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. For whatever reason it has not translated, but it is not because of a lack of effort. It is not because of a lack of caring and passion. That is all there. Unfortunately, it has not been going the way we want it to and as an offense you look at that last game, it is just the turnovers in the second half that kind of kill us. Trying to sometimes do too much or just things that we cannot have that make a loss even worse.’
From the Booth: Seahawks at Bills
‘The Seahawks averaged 8.4 yards per carry against Buffalo and they did much of their damage out of their read-option running attack. Rookie quarterback Russell Wilson had a record of good production out of the option play going into the Buffalo game, and the Bills defenders say they practiced against that look during the week.’
Moats out for the season
‘He was injured on a kickoff coverage play for the Bills with under a minute remaining in the first quarter when he got caught at the bottom of the pile. Moats was carted off the field in the first half. His left ankle was placed in an immobilizer cast on the team’s return trip to Buffalo from Toronto.’
Spiller blazes to first 1,000-yard season
‘””I tip my hat to the offensive line and the guys that have been doing the downfield blocking,” Spiller said. “I wish it would’ve come in a better form in a win. It would’ve this day a whole lot better, but it didn’t. It’s just one of those milestones I can just cross off.”‘
Bills Report Card
‘At one point, Lynch ran nearly untouched for 54 yards up the middle.’
Bills still only NFL option for Toronto
‘However, Goodell happens to be from Jamestown, N.Y., hard by your Buffalo, and he’s not going to want to see his childhood team move. Plus, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is thinking of a presidential run in 2016 and he’s not about to wear a lost Bills franchise.’
Bills Sink Fans Into Further Agony
‘They are the first team since the 1986 New York Jets to give up 45 points or more four times in a season. (And that Jets team actually won 10 games!) Their supposedly revamped defense is tied for 30th in the league in points allowed (28.7 ppg), and is dead last in yards per rushing attempt allowed at 5.1 yards per carry. The team’s five wins have come against opponents with a combined record of 20-50, and the Bills have won just one game against a team (the Patriots in 2011) that finished the season with a winning record since Coach Chan Gailey took the helm in 2010.’
My Letter To Santa
It’s clear the Bills weren’t ready for Seahawks
‘When asked if he felt anger at the performance, he admitted, “You are angry, you’re angry at yourself because you did not get the team ready to play at the level they needed to win the ball game. “When they do not play well, the buck stops with me. I understand that.” That’s what we’re thinking too, Chan.’
Bumbling Bills made for Toronto
‘Caring about the Buffalo Bills must be a real downer. Glad we don’t have that problem.’
