‘Johnson was hurt last week against Jacksonville and practiced on a limited basis Thursday and Friday after missing Wednesday’s session.’

Post-game analysis: Rams 15, Bills 12
‘For the second time this season, the Bills passed up an opportunity for three points in a close, low-scoring game. And for the second time this season, it ultimately cost them in the end.’
Week 14 report card
‘Take nothing away from the Rams effort but there was no reason for the Bills to lose this game. Had there been better clock management, better play calling and better in game decision making the Bills would have been able to seal the victory and improve to 6-7 on the year.’
Sideline Reactions: Rams 15 – Bills 12
‘How many unbearable conservative decisions by head coach Chan Gailey that end up doing more harm then good needs to be suffered before he finally gets it?’
Twelve years of incompetent game day coaching is getting old
‘Gailey again called the game like he had Tom Brady at quarterback instead of Ryan Fitzpatrick. It amazes me that he has no concept of what he has in his backfield.’
Bills Have Another Dark Day
‘C.J. Spiller, who leads the NFL in yards per carry and is 7th in total yards from scrimmage, had a mere 8 touches(7 rushes and 1 catch) out of 58 offensive plays. It was the lowest number of touches for Spiller, who was averaging 7.3 yards per touch coming into the game, since the week 5 matchup in San Francisco. Spiller’s last carry came with 9:05 left in the 4th quarter. Actually that was his last touch for the game. The Bills ran 9 offensive plays the rest of the game and none went to Spiller.’
Chan Gailey Was Scared
‘The reason for the boos was because the punt followed an almost mind boggling sequence that saw the Bills trot Rian Lindell out to attempt a 52 yard field goal. Gailey changed his mind, panicked, called time out and ended up punting. Getting scared about trying the field goal is bad enough. Blowing the time out is pretty much inexcusable. Remember, the Bills are at the 34 yard line. Even if you can’t get your head around the field goal, there certainly is no harm in taking the 5 yard penalty and saving the time out for later in what has been a close game all day.’
Gailey ”Tough pill to swallow”
‘It’s that lack of killer instinct that killed the Bills again. It’s the lack of killer instinct that has the Bills at 5-8.’
Another bad finish means Bills are finished
‘Despite the upgrades at several positions the 5-8 Bills remain a bad team. They still don’t have a quarterback who can guide them to the playoffs. And they still don’t have a coach who can manage a game.’
Immediate Reactions: St. Louis Rams 15, Buffalo Bills 12
‘What in the world is going on in your head? You’re a grown man giving out carries based on whose turn it is? Is it not in you to walk up to Fred Jackson and say, “Hey man, thanks for everything but I’m sure you’ve noticed the human highlight reel sharing carries with you?” The thing is, I don’t think it is in you. Even after he got hurt, you turned to third-string back Tashard Choice as if it “I SAID it wasn’t your turn, CJ.”‘
Bills Fall In Final Minute 15-12
‘For the second time this year the Bills lost a lead in the final minute at home to a mediocre opponent and went down to defeat. Sam Bradford ruined another solid performance by the Bills defense when he hit Brandon Gibson with a 13 yard touchdown pass with :48 left to give the Rams a 15-12 come from behind win over the Bills.’
Bills squander win, fall to Rams 15-12
‘After their only touchdown drive late in the third quarter, Buffalo’s offense struggled to string plays together resulting in a four-and-out followed by a pair of three-and-outs.’
Chan Gailey: ”Bottom line we couldn’t make plays”
‘Q: Is being the head coach and the coordinator catching up to you because these are not time management decisions that the head coach is supposed to make? A: I have done this my whole career. This if the way I have always done it. I do not see that as being something that changes now.’
Ryan Fitzpatrick: ”We have to develop a killer instinct”
‘We have to win those games if we want to be one of the teams that is sitting there at the end of the year getting ready for the playoffs. We have to be able to win games like this. As an offense we have to be able to put them away and we did not do it today.’
C.J. Spiller: ”I’m not going to sit around and pout”
‘I really cannot control how many times I touch the ball, guys. I keep saying it over and over. I do not know what else you want me to say. The only thing I can do is when my number is called, just try to do the best I can. Even when it is not, just do the best I can. Today I let a couple of my pass pro’s kind of slip a little bit. So I just have to go back to the drawing boards to see what I did wrong, try to fix it and finish these last three games on a high note.’
