‘C.J. Spiller, Fred Jackson, George Wilson, along with other teammates and their families, are scheduled to help build a new playground in less than eight hours Tuesday at a Lackawanna school.’

‘Freeman has been pushing a downtown stadium for some time and is working with the company behind this plan. 2 on Your Side asked him about the biggest obstacle: funding. The cost is estimated at $1.4 billion.’

‘”At the end of the day that’s who is on the field,” he said. “Coaches coach and players play. We might have to grab guys by the shirt collar and tell them to get to moving. It’s nothing personal, but we’re relying on you. Myself included. If I’m not doing my job I expect Kyle (Williams) to grab me by the neck and tell me to get going. That’s what it’s going to take. We’ve got a lot of young guys. We’re going to get everybody on the same page.”‘

‘We all fall into that category. Is there more everybody can do? Yes. And that is a challenge for each of us to do the very best that we can every time we walk out there. ‘”Again, just getting those guys (Spiller and Jackson) touches as many ways as we can,” Fitzpatrick said. “Whether it is handing the ball off out of the backfield or throwing them screens, we just wanted to get them as many touches as we could. That was part of it. This defense that we played is one that a lot of times will have two high safeties and sit back. If we can get our guys the ball and get them a block then it gives us a good chance to get them in space.”‘

‘Last year the Bills defense was bad and there were many calls for Dave Wannstedt to take over the D. Well, you got your wish,. Either Wannstedt has no idea how to coach defense in this era of the NFL (which I do not believe) or his has a bunch of dogs playing for his group. They did appear to make some adjustments in the 3rd quarter to slow down Tennessee but to use a phrase that I am sure Buddy and Chan have said many times, "The horse was way out of the barn" by then. But even with the mess that they were for most of the afternoon they were left with a chance to still win the game because their average quarterback had put 34 points on the board. Instead they failed several times, including on a 4th and 10 and lost the game by the point.’
