‘Coaching: There were way too many penalties today (10 for 75 yards). I thought they did a great job taking away the run and putting the game in Weeden’s hands. Once they got pressure on him he turned the ball over. The offense looked great with Spiller in there, but struggled a little without him. Next week will be interesting because Fitzpatrick will need to do more than manage the game. Grade: A-‘

‘This was a well coached game. When Spiller left the game, Chan Gailey probably had to change his game plan a little bit. (Okay, a lot.) It helped that Fitzpatrick was steady today (208 yards and three touchdowns) and Tashard Choice did rush for 91 yards. Gailey and the coaching staff did a good job today. The Bills looked prepared and they had the right game plan to beat the Browns.’

‘Fitzpatrick finished 22 of 35 for 208 yards as the Bills (2-1) turned to their passing game after Spiller, the NFL’s leading rusher, was lost in the first quarter with a shoulder injury.’

‘The NFL’s leading rusher was hurt as he was tackled after catching a short pass and picking up 25 yards. Spiller was in obvious pain as he stayed on the ground for several minutes before he was helped to his feet by trainers. He grasped his left arm as he walked off the field before being carted to the locker room for further evaluation and treatment.’

‘There were no major lineup changes for the Bills. As expected, running back C.J. Spiller will start for Fred Jackson, sidelined with a sprained knee. Spiller enters the game as the NFL’s leading rusher, averaging 10.1 yards per carry.’
