‘The Bills are reeling and there may have been an overreaction to the blow out loss to the Jets. Home cooking may be all they need and I think they are catching the Chiefs at the right time. The Jets made a statement last week it is time for the Bills to make one this week: Bills 24, Chiefs 13.’

‘”This is just one game, and by any means necessary (what happened Sunday is) going to change. I appreciate everybody pointing fingers, and they should be, but true colors will be shown and we’ll take care of ourselves. People can say what they want after one game, but it’s one game.”‘

‘Dareus was excused from practice after flying home earlier this week to be with his family. Coach Chan Gailey said he’s spoken with Dareus, who indicated he intends to be back in time to play in the home opener against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.’

”’Nobody wants to have a gun at their heads thinking if we don’t get it done by the end of the season then what’s going to happen,” Poloncarz said. ”By doing an extension, it guarantees the Bills are here for the full 2013 season, and it gives us ample time during the next 18 months or so to continue these negotiations.”’

‘”We definitely didn’t do what we needed to do to win,” Williams said. “The biggest thing was that we didn’t get sacks. Starting with myself, we definitely have to put the quarterback on his back with any means necessary.”‘
