“I don’t know if I’m ready to go there yet,” Gailey said. “I’ll be honest with you. I think we have the makeup to be that. We were not that (Sunday).”

‘”I know Buffalo maybe has a bad rep, but the people in that city treated us so well everywhere we went,” said the Regina-based Morrison. “They took us under their wing, so to speak, and they showed us a great time. It was a trip of a lifetime.”‘

‘Coach Chan Gailey says the injury to kicker Rian Lindell’s(notes) right shoulder is “not good,” and the team will try out replacements this week. Gailey ruled out Lindell from playing at Dallas on Sunday, but wouldn’t say whether the injury was season-ending.’

‘Scott hopes the allegations are false. If true, then the nine-year NFL veteran says he’ll pray for the victims and their families because what’s being alleged is “just bad.”‘

‘Now Gailey has to find a way to get the Bills prepared for a three-game road swing that starts with a stop in Dallas, moves on to Miami and finishes back in New Jersey with a rematch against the Jets. It is a pivotal time in Buffalo’s schedule and could determine if the Bills are going to remain in the chase for a playoff berth that has eluded them for 11 consecutive seasons.’

‘Chan Gailey had a bad day calling plays, and he admitted it. He was not able to find any chinks in the Jets’ armor and he made some puzzling decisions, most notably not sneaking Fitzpatrick on fourth-and-inches deep in Jets territory in the fourth quarter. He called for a run to Jackson which was stuffed. On defense, the Bills did a better job against the run, but they allowed Mark Sanchez to make plays in key situations as New York pounded out 24 first downs.’

‘”I certainly hope not,” Lindell said when asked if he would miss any time. “It could be a deal where I have to wear a tight T-shirt and see how it goes.”‘

‘”That’s why we’re doing it, in case he can’t kick this week,” said Gailey. “We’ll make that judgement, see how he feels [Tuesday] and see what [doctors] say we need to do. But if I had to guess I’d say we probably would have to have one at least for one week.”‘

‘When asked if the injury is thought to be one that could jeopardize the remainder of Williams’ season, head coach Chan Gailey didn’t rule out anything. “That is a possibility, I’m not going to say it’s not,” he said, lowering his voice in disappointment.’

‘Wheatley was released because rookie cornerback Aaron Williams is getting extremely close to being ready to play for the Bills. Before his release, Buffalo was carrying seven cornerbacks.’

‘Another fan added this reply, “Horrible. I think unfortunately we thought we were going to win. We came in a little cocky and unfortunately we blew it.”‘

‘Gailey referenced a possible “break or separation” of Lindell’s shoulder, and said the status is “not good.”‘

‘”Not good,” said Gailey. “(The medical staff) had a little (discussion). I don’t know if they said a break or it tried to come out or what it was, but it’s not good. So we’re going to bring some guys in and have them kick this week just in case we have to find another kicker.”‘

‘”He’ll be going down tomorrow or the next day,” said head coach Chan Gailey Monday. “I think something definitive will happen there one way or another.”‘

‘”We like what he’s been able to do for us and with getting Aaron Williams back to practice we released Terrence Wheatley and made room for him,” said head coach Chan Gailey.’
