‘CEO Russ Brandon said Wednesday that there are approximately 14,400 tickets remaining for the Dec. 4 game against Tennessee, about 15,300 left for the Dec. 18 clash with Miami, and the Christmas Eve game against Tim Tebow and Denver is still about 25,000 shy of a sellout.’

Buffalo Bills RB Fred Jackson goes from unknown to standout
‘”I spent the morning just watching him. Some of the runs that the guy makes, vision, foot quickness in the hole and how he gets in and out of things, this guy, he can wind it all the way back. … You really got to be disciplined with him.”‘
In roundabout way, Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson leads NFL in rushing
‘”He’s getting it done for them,” Dolphins defensive end Kendall Langford said. “Making some amazing runs, making cutbacks, and he’s also catching it well. To stop him this week is one of our keys to victory, and it can’t just be lip service.”‘

Banged-up Bills beginning to limp after fast start
‘”We think we have some good players. The problem is we don’t have experienced depth,” coach Chan Gailey said. “They’re all young players, and they’re having to learn on the fly. That’s not an easy thing to do.”‘
Bills WR Johnson nursing left shoulder injury
‘Speaking before practice Wednesday, Johnson says he’s getting daily treatment, but adds he’s not 100 percent confident his shoulder will be strong enough.’
Bills OL Shuffles Even More
‘Starting right tackle Erik Pears, who has been consistent all season long for the team, did not participate in Wednesday’s session. Without Wood and Pears, the Bills had five players practicing with the first team that did not start the season at that position.’
Pair of WRs Miss Bills Practice, Kelsay Returns
‘Stevie Johnson, Lindell and Wilson were not expected to practice. Nelson, Pears and Spencer Johnson were a bit of a surprise. Wednesdays are usually the day that teams allow players to take a rest day and prepare for the rest of the week along with the game. It remains to be seen if that’s the case for those three players.’
Bills Offense Slowing Down
‘”We’re searching for answers,” said Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick. “Really, the only way to figure it out and get over it is to get back out on the field, get some good practice in this week and to go out and do it this weekend.”‘
Bills Lease Update
‘Brandon says the results of the election have no bearing on the negotiations which for all intents and purposes have yet to begin. He also says expectations that the Bills will ask for in excess of $100-million in taxpayer money for stadium upgrades as part of the deal are “premature.”‘
Kelsay Excited to Return vs. Dolphins
‘His return to the lineup can do nothing but help the Bills who have lost NT Kyle Williams and LB Shawne Merriman to injuries in recent weeks.’
Bills look ahead to Sunday at Miami
‘The thing that we have, we think we have some good players. The problem is we don’t have experience depth. They’re all young players and they’re having to learn on the fly. They’re having to experience the speed of the game on the fly and that’s not an easy thing to do. I think we’ve got some good players in the making. They just need to get some reps and get some playing time, especially the rookies that we have.’
Pressure is on to end ugly skid
‘Buffalo’s three-game road swing continues next week with a rematch against the Jets. The Bills face nothing but AFC opponents the rest of the way and likely need to finish 5-2 in the final seven games to make the playoffs.’
Strategy And Personnel
‘For the Bills, it starts with taking a suddenly dangerous 2-7 Miami team seriously. The Dolphins have found life under QB Matt Moore, who has led the team to lopsided wins over the Chiefs and Redskins. The Bills have to find a way to get pressure on Moore and slow down a decent running-the-ball-by-committee attack involving Reggie Bush and Daniel Thomas. And by all means, it wouldn’t hurt to stop an opposing tight end. Miami has a good one in Anthony Fasano. On offense, QB Ryan Fitzpatrick is in need of a confidence boost and may find it against a Miami secondary that’s ranked 25th overall and is giving up 256.3 yards per game. But success through the air will depend on keeping Fitzpatrick’s uniform clean against a linebacker corps that has 13 sacks, led by Cameron Wake and the ageless Jason Taylor.’
Wood ready for another rehab challenge
‘”I don’t know if it’s fully set in, but mentally I’m prepared,” he said. “At this point, I’ve just got to be a realist about it. There’s a lot of hard work to be put in, and a lot of guys come back from ACL injuries and say they’re a lot faster and stronger just because out of rehab you do your hips and knees, so everything gets stronger. Guys that I have talked to and who are the same age as me have come back and have great years. It’s just kind of what I’ve been hearing and that’s what I’ve got to focus on.”‘
