‘”In the first half, when we jumped on them, the way the game was going and the way they were playing, they laid down,” Bell said Sunday after Miami’s 35-8 victory. “We were putting a hat to them and flying all over the place. When we don’t make mistakes, we execute, and everybody’s in the right spot, we’re a pretty good defense. We did that today, and I feel they laid down.”‘

Former South Fork standout Corey McIntyre tries to figure out Bills’ struggles
‘”We have to eliminate the mistakes,” he said, “and we have to make plays – we are not making plays like we did earlier in the season. We just have to start faster, stay together and keep moving forward. We still have time to make a run.”‘

Surging Dolphins beat injury-riddled Bills 35-8
‘For the third game in a row, the Dolphins held the opposition without a touchdown.’
Bills CB McGee likely out for season with injury
‘McGee was carted off the field in the second quarter of Sunday’s 35-8 loss at Miami. Receiver Donald Jones was also carted away in the second quarter with a left ankle injury, and coach Chan Gailey says he might be out three to six weeks.’
Bills WR Jones hurts ankle against Dolphins
‘Jones’ ankle was placed in an inflatable brace before he was taken to the locker room in the second quarter Sunday, and the Bills said he would not return.’
New Dolphins K Graham active against Bills
‘Bills safety George Wilson (neck) and tackle Demetrius Bell (shoulder) are inactive. Da’Norris Searcy starts for Wilson, and Chris Hairston starts for Bell.’
Miami 35, Buffalo 8
‘Buffalo (5-5), meanwhile, has gone in a completely opposite direction. The Bills have been outscored 106-26 during a three-game skid and have also dropped five of seven games after opening the campaign with three wins.’
Bills lose Jackson, Jones and McGee in Miami
‘Jackson wasn’t the only Buffalo player hurt in the 35-8 loss, as receiver Donald Jones injured his ankle and cornerback Terrence McGee left with a knee issue.’
Dolphins Destroy Bills 35-8
‘Ryan Fitzpatrick had another tough performace completing 20 of 39 passes for 209 yards and two interceptions. Fitzpatrick’s wide receivers didn’t him out today, as the team dropped 10 passes in the game. Fred Jackson also had a rough game with seven ruses for 17 yards.’
Reaction: Dolphins 35 – Bills 8
‘George Edwards’ job is on the line, and I’m starting to think some decisions are being taken out of his hands. If you noticed, the Bills were largely in four-man sets throughout the entire game. Even so, Buffalo just doesn’t possess the personnel to field a defense that can stop any offense besides one’s led by John Beck. Edwards has exactly six games left. If things don’t improve — and quickly — his tenure in western New York will be rather short-lived.’
This collapse is worse
‘You wonder why there’s no depth and no wins in the organization? It’s easy, since 2002 here are your first round picks, Mike Williams, Willis McGahee (when you already have Travis Henry), J.P. Losman, Lee Evans, John McCargo, Donte Whitner, Marshawn Lynch, Leodis McKelvin, Eric Wood, Aaron Maybin, Spiller and Dareus.’
Bills Becoming Hard Sell
‘But the Bills don’t have anywhere near the depth a playoff contender needs, and they won’t be able to buy that kind of talent on the free agency market. Their needs are many; defensive line and linebackers, wide receivers, and better players at just about every position except qb. Not to say the Bills don’t need a better qb, but they will not get one through the draft that can help right now, so better to help Fitz in other areas.’
Bills blown out & banged up
‘When the injured players cart gains more yards than your offense, it’s the ultimate bad sign.’
Bills injuries: Jones & McGee & Jackson
‘According to Head Coach Chan Gailey, the worst appers to be cornerback Terrence McGee. He was carted off after suffering a knee injury on a Miami touchdown in the second quarter. Gailey says “it’s not good” and McGee is likely done for the season.’
