‘The Bills are seventh in rushing, 15th in passing, and — more important — tied for fourth in scoring.’

Jones, Austin ruled out for Dallas
‘Meanwhile, Dallas starting linebacker Sean Lee, a key in pass coverage, was limited in practice again Friday and is questionable for Sunday. Lee has a sprained wrist that caused him to miss last week’s game against Seattle. He’s wearing a cast in practice that prevents him from using the fingers on his left hand.’
Cowboys Cheerleader dilemma: Root for Dallas or her Bills boyfriend?
‘”I want to do something that hasn’t been done before, but the situation has to be right,” Nelson said. “I’m not a big celebration guy when I score, but this is a special situation and if something happens I’ll be looking to enjoy the situation.”‘
Gailey still winning Landry-like
‘Yep, Jerry, I agree. Firing Chan Gailey was certainly one of your biggest mistakes.’
What Dallas learns from Buffalo’s season
‘Buffalo, the worst turnover team in the NFL in 2010 (and finished 4-12) is 5-3 this year and are near the top of the NFL in one of the most meaningful statistics in football. Buffalo is +8 in turnover differential which sits 4th in the NFL. The three teams above the Bills? Detroit (6-2), San Francisco (7-1), and Green Bay (8-0). In fact, the top five teams in turnovers — if you add 5th place New York Giants (6-2) — you arrive at an insane win/loss record of 32-8.’

David Nelson to face cheerleader girlfriend’s team in Sunday’s Cowboys-Bills game
‘”If I’m in the area where she is, I’m sure I’ll have something planned for that, but I also don’t want to get her in too much trouble,” Nelson told the blog. “I obviously couldn’t get in trouble, but she could. I’m discussing some things and try to surprise her a little bit if maybe something happens.”‘
Spiller: Stars need to do double-duty
‘In his second season with Buffalo, Spiller has played sparingly behind Jackson, but he seems to have learned the professional work ethic, and while he’s only had 17 carries this season – he had 74 last year for 283 yards – his yard-per carry average is up to 6.6. “I’m working, man, and I’m playing behind a great back, maybe a player-of-the-year candidate, so I’m not complaining,” Spiller said. “It’s a great thing to be a part of this team and some of things we’ve done this year.”‘
WR Johnson ill, misses practice
‘Johnson came to the practice facility for medication Friday morning before returning back home to rest. He leads the team with 42 catches for 523 yards, and hasn’t missed a game despite a nagging groin injury.’

Bills’ Stevie Absent Friday with Illness, Probable
‘Other than Johnson, the same three players did not participate in Friday’s practice. Demetrius Bell, Chris Kelsay and Rian Lindell had to sit out with injuries. All three have been declared out for the game. Kelsay is the closest of the three it seems. He was doing running drills with a trainer during the media portion of practice. A re-aggravated calf injury will keep him out of the game this weekend.’
