‘"Honestly, I don’t care that he’s here or anybody else, but I like watching him kick," Moorman said after the Bills’ practice on Wednesday. "He’s one of the best there’s ever been. It’s always good to go out and compete. It’s not a me-versus-him thing, because it’s all game-planning. … I want to put my best foot forward every week, and this week is no different. I want to hit all good balls."’

Bills’ Alumni Weekend to revisit Stratton hit
‘Special remembrance of that play, one of the most famous in Bills’ history, will be just one of the features of the Buffalo Bills Alumni Foundation’s America’s Heroes – Wounded Warriors VIP Gala on Saturday night at the Seneca Niagara Events Center in Niagara Falls.’
McGee’s injury opens door for Corner’s return
‘McGee is out several weeks with a hamstring injury suffered in Kansas City. Corner played the past three years as a nickel cornerback for the Bills. He was released on the last roster cutdown before the regular season. Rookie Aaron Williams is the Bills’ No. 3 corner. Corner enters Sunday’s game as No. 4 and could play in the six-defensive back (dime) alignment. The Bills didn’t use the dime defense in Kansas City. Corner took the roster spot of undrafted rookie linebacker Robert Eddins, who was put on injured reserve.’
Ruvell Martin rejoins Buffalo Bills
‘”Sure I’m glad to be back,” Martin said. “Thankfully it was a short stay at home and hopefully it continues that way.”‘

TE Chandler’s drive paying off for Bills
‘The touchdowns were his first since 2006, when he was a senior at Iowa. And after four seasons of bouncing around the NFL, Chandler might have finally found a home in Buffalo with a team benefiting from his 6-foot-7 presence in its passing attack.’
Bills re-sign CB Corner; place LB Eddins on IR
‘Corner was released a week before the start of the season. Selected in the fourth round of the 2008 draft out of Akron, he had an interception and defensed 18 passes in 44 games, including 12 starts, with Buffalo.’

‘Corner will help a secondary that will be without starting cornerback Terrence McGee, who is expected to be sidelined for a few weeks because of a hamstring injury.’
Merriman, Bills at risk of losing low profile
‘”I had the confidence we were going to win the game, but I definitely didn’t think we’d blow ’em out like that,” said Bills linebacker Nick Barnett, who signed with Buffalo in late July, two days after being released by the Packers. “It didn’t seem like [the Chiefs] came to play. I don’t know what’s going on in their locker room or anything like that, but they haven’t hit their groove. I don’t know if we caught them off guard, but if we did, I hope we keep catching teams off guard.”‘
Bills Wilson says they must play team defense
‘ “All 11 guys on the field were on the same page. We were playing calls that we were confident in playing that we knew inside and out and guys could just line up and play the game without doing a whole bunch of thinking and major adjustments based on what the offense was giving us, so it’s off to a good start, but we have to do it again this week with just as tough test in the running game. They’re a physical football team, runningbacks run the ball very tough with McFadden and Bush, two totally different running styles, but it’s been very effective and efficient for the offense.”‘
Bills McGee not practicing. Moats back
‘Arthur Moats returned for individual drills as did Torell Troup. As far as how his practice day will go Chan Gailey said, “He’s going to try to get out there and do some things today but it will be very, very limited.”‘
