‘Buffalo needs both guys.’

‘Six members of the New Voice Club, most talking with artificial larynxes, sat in the back of the Bills’ media room Tuesday to pay tribute to the Bills and Pleasant, their former colleague.’

But a new regime favors its own players and distances itself from the old guard. They’ll do what they can to justify the investment.’

‘As for Jackson’s talk with Modkins he said, “I sat down with Coach Modkins and we had a productive talk, let me know where I stood and we’ll take things from there. There is still some stuff that needs to be ironed out. He told me that I would be starting and we can go from there. But we will see how things pan out. We will see what we do when it comes to Saturday.”‘

‘”You don’t take a guy in the top ten if you don’t plan on playing him obviously,” he told News 4 Sports, “but I feel like I’ve done a lot to speak for myself on the field as well.”‘

‘On if Merriman’s injury will hold him out this week: Yeah it could. I think we will have to see more towards the end of the week and see how it goes.’

Everybody says something from time to time that they wish they had back or that they wish they had phrased differently. I understand that. Fred is a great player and is going to be a great player and we look forward to what he is going to do for us this year. He is going to have a big part in our offense this year.’

What my role is or what we do in the game. I think this will be the one true game for starters and what your role is will definitely be determined this weekend I believe.”‘
