‘Corto has been a solid special teams contributor for the Bills during his three seasons with the team.’

‘Corto, who is from Orchard Park, has been primarily used on special teams in Buffalo. He appeared in 11 games last season after opening the year on the physically-unable-to-perform list after having surgery in July on a broken left wrist.’

‘ The Buffalo Bills announced the release of linebackers Mike Balogun and Pierre Woods Friday. Both were in season pickups by the Bills during the 2010 campaign due to a rash of injuries at the position.’

‘The Orchard Park native has been a special teams stalwart for the Bills for each of the past three seasons after making the 53-man roster in 2008, following a year on the practice squad.’

‘”The coaches were putting us in the right spot,” Posluszny said. “We have to get off a block and make a play, we have to come downhill, hit a guy, get off a block, get to the ball carrier, tackle better. It’s not a scheme thing at all. We’re lined up in a great defense. We’re ready to stop the run, we’re lined up in the right places, and we’re running the right stuff. It’s us. We have to be more physical, we have to play better. Defensively, we just didn’t play well at all.”‘
