‘Even a Bills victory is painful to watch this year.’

Buffalo’s Ryan Fitzpatrick shrugs off wet conditions, steadily leads Bills offense
‘”It wasn’t an impossible day to throw the ball; the wind wasn’t bad at all,” he said. “The wetness was there all day, but it was not terrible. It wasn’t a case where it’s terrible weather and nobody can do anything. The conditions were OK.”‘

Bills beat offensively inept Browns 13-6
‘The Browns’ offense was so inept, it didn’t cross midfield in five second-half possessions.’
Bills WR Evans out indefinitely with ankle injury
‘Evans was injured at the end of Jonathan Stupar’s 35-yard reception that led to Rian Lindell’s 30-yard field goal and gave the Bills a 10-6 halftime lead. He was trailing Stupar on the play, and tumbled down behind the tight end.’
Browns RB Hillis hits 1,000 yards rushing
‘Hillis reached the milestone with an 8-yard gain on his fourth carry early in the first quarter of the Browns game at the Buffalo Bills. Jamal Lewis, in 2008, was the last Browns player to hit 1,000.’
Browns’ rookie McCoy third QB
‘Buffalo cornerback Terrence McGee returned after missing seven of the last nine games because of a nerve problem behind his knee. Tight end Shawn Nelson missed his third straight game because of migraines.’
Buffalo 13, Cleveland 6
‘Fitzpatrick was 14-of-23 for 142 yards while Fred Jackson had 29 carries for 112 yards for the Bills (3-10), who snapped a two-game losing streak. Rian Lindell kicked two field goals and David Nelson caught a score for the second straight week. ‘
Bills beat Browns 13-6
‘It was quiet in the third quarter, but the Bills widened the gap at 7:56 in the fourth. Rian Lindell nailed a 19-yard field goal to give them a 13-6 lead.’
Reaction: Bills 13 – Browns 6
‘Bills’ MVP: Jake Delhomme – 12-of-20, 86 yards, INT – Thanks for the memories, Jake.’
Bills defense would not let this one get away
‘Chan Gailey’s coaching staff is so much better than Dick Jauron’s when it comes to recognizing that the game plan is not quite right and must be tweaked.’
Immediate Reactions: Bills 13, Browns 6
‘Ryan Fitzpatrick did enough to win this game and should be commended. He now had 21 touchdowns and 11 interceptions this season. If the Bills don’t draft No. 1 overall – a veritable impossibility – be prepared for another 16 or so games of Fitz next year (should there be NFL football). Guess what? I’m 100 percent okay with that, even if Fitzmagic is Fitzmediocre.’
Bills May Not Need Luck – Why Not Cam?
‘He could still be there by the Bills turn, whenever that is, and he’d be perfect, really, even if he doesn’t play at all next season. He could learn under Fitzpatrick and play in some situations, and he would also give long-suffering Bills fans some legitimate hope for the future.’
Bills Defense steps up
‘Still, the Bills are in position to land a top-five pick. Unless, they are enamored with Heisman Trophy winner Cam Newton or Ryan Mallett or Jake Locker, they’re better off drafting a game-changing linebacker (someone, who, hopefully, is the real deal and not another Aaron Maybin.)’
Bills Beat Browns 13-6
‘This game was as ugly as most people thought it would be but for the first time since 2004 the Bills came out on the winning end of a series filled of bizzare games. Last year they lost a slightly uglier game so this may be a show of progress. Afterall, ugly wins are better than ugly losses.’
