‘Chan Gailey called an excellent game on offense, and his aggressiveness in the overtime wasn’t rewarded by his players, who failed to make big plays when they were right there for the making. The offensive line was coached up well and they did a good job against the zone blitz. On defense, the Bills were unable to hold up against the run, as they gave up 206 yards, but they came up with a solid pass rush package that resulted in a season-high five sacks. Once again, the Bills were competitive against a good team, and once again, after a slow start, they stayed with it and nearly won.’
