‘What wasn’t fun was watching number one picks like Donte Whitner and Aaron Maybin embarrass themselves on the field. You can thrown number one pick John McCargo in there too as he isn’t even good enough to dress on a defense that has gotten blasted for 72 points in two weeks. Whitner was suppose to give help to Reggie Corner on Randy Moss and Whitner was so slow, he didn’t get close to Moss who caught a 35 yard touchdown. Whitner has been tweeting since training camp about all the big plays he’s going to make. It might be nice if the 8th overall pick could make an average play. Maybin couldn’t even break the plane of the line of scrimmage with more playing time. It would’ve been nice if Dick Jauron would’ve stayed out of the draft taking players he’s never seen before, but when you have no GM in the room, who’s to stop the most clueless man in the room from taking a guy like Maybin when guys like Cushing, Matthews, Oher and Orakpo are there.’
