‘Buffalo now has seven players on the practice squad leaving just one opening on the eight-man unit.’

‘Two corners, Terrence McGee and Leodis McKelvin were watching today. Also on the sideline was rookie LB Antonio Coleman. On Saturday Chan Gailey wouldn’t say what was wrong with McGee, but he did say it was minor. Today Gailey said, "I think they’ll be fine. They’re not getting on the field as much as we’d like right now but I think they’ll be fine for the game. I think we’re going to try to see them on the field on Wednesday."’

‘The deal could be worth more if McIntyre meets several incentive clauses and comes as he prepares for his third year in Buffalo and sixth in the NFL.’

‘I say the Bills finish 5-11 this season with the arrow finally pointing up for the future.’

‘Russell joins the Bills after being released by Kansas City on September 4. The 6-4, 280-pound Wake Forest product originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with Green Bay following the 2010 Draft.’

‘Hubbard was released by Oakland on Aug. 31 after spending last season on the Raiders’ practice squad. At 6-foot-2 and 225 pounds, the Wisconsin product was originally drafted by Cleveland in the sixth round in 2008. He then spent that season on the Browns practice squad.’

‘With four vacant spots on their 2010 practice squad, the Bills added two more players to the unit Monday, signing WR Paul Hubbard and LB John Russell.’

‘Hennessey is also free to sign with any team looking to shore up its depth along the offensive line.’

‘The Buffalo Bills Alumni Foundation’s annual alumni weekend will host 16 players from the Pro Football Hall of Fame as part of "Legends of the Gridiron." The three-day event features a VIP Gala at the Seneca Niagara Casino on Saturday, a tailgate party before the Bills’ home opener against Miami on Sunday and the alumni foundation’s annual Celebrity Charity Golf Classic next Monday at Hickory Stick Golf Club in Lewiston.’

‘Urbik’s acquisition was also meant to bolster a position with limited depth. Urbik was with the Steelers in 2009, but was inactive for every game. He’s a huge man at 6-foot-5 and 323 pounds. The third-round pick of the Steelers in 2009 had a ton of experience in college, starting 50 games for Wisconsin and earning All-Big Ten Conference honors in 2007 and 2008.’

‘Hardy looks like a football player and has the size and speed to be a useful NFL performer. But he always seemed to be hurt and didn’t show much when he managed to suit up in his two seasons with Buffalo.’
