I don’t get the freaking out about having Brian Brohm sit preseason game No. 1 and having other No. 2 quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick sit game No. 2. If there’s a way to figure out which guy is better, it’s certainly by letting the player get into the flow of a game. Should you judge two outfielders in Spring Training by giving them each an at-bat a game, or by letting them take their hacks over the course of nine innings? If anything, I like the idea.
