Whaley adds his voice to Bills
‘"The main reason was the professional challenge," said Whaley, "and to take what I’ve learned in a successful organization and try to implement it on the ground floor with a great group of guys – with Buddy [Nix] and Chan [Gailey] and Tom Modrak and the scouting staff. To see if I can take that and implement and hopefully get this thing moving in the right direction."’
Nix and Gailey continue to reshape Bills
‘If you’re keeping track, Buffalo’s announcement that T.O., Reed and Denney will not be offered contracts, leaves the Bills with six players – guards Kendall Simmons and Seth McKinney, linebackers Chris Draft and Josh Stamer, safety/linebacker Bryan Scott and safety Todd Johnson – who will be unrestricted free agents on Friday, if they don’t re-sign.’
Tackles should be available for Bills in draft
‘"I think the talent there is good," Bills General Manager Buddy Nix said of the tackle position. "I think the big guys in this draft is the strong point – on both sides of the ball."’
