‘The Bills may be starting the same offensive line combination for the third game in a row for the first time this year. Will it matter? The line played pretty well. This rag-tag unit paved the way for 200 rushing yards and a 5.7 average per attempt, and Ryan Fitzpatrick was sacked only twice. In comparison to many other games, this was pretty good.’

‘For the first time all season, the two-back system really served the Bills well as Fred Jackson pounded his way for 99 yards on 20 carries and Marshawn Lynch had a season-high 84 on 12 attempts.’

‘The Chiefs had a 354-273 edge in total yards in the game and had 76 of their 152 yards rushing on the Charles TD. The Bills rushed for 200 yards, 99 by Fred Jackson on 20 carries and 84 by Marshawn Lynch on 12 carries — including a 47-yarder that was Buffalo’s longest run of the year.’

‘Coaching: Catavolos’ guys have been terrific in pass coverage all year. Offensive game plan was to establish run and they followed through on it. Grade: B.’

‘Buffalo (5-8) overcame three turnovers and an ineffective passing game to finally close out a win in the fourth quarter. The Bills had lost seven times this season when they were within a touchdown headed into the final 15 minutes, pulling this one out with two interceptions in the final 2:11.’

‘Fred Jackson and Marshawn Lynch carried the load for the Bills (5-8), rushing for 99 and 84 yards, respectively.’
