‘”We’ve been having tough breaks so far, but that doesn’t really mean much to them,” defensive tackle Marcus Stroud said, referring to the Dolphins. “They’re not going to take it any easier on us.”‘

Stroud, McGee questionable for Bills
‘Rookie safety Jairus Byrd (groin) is also questionable, while left tackle Demetrius Bell won’t play because of a lingering knee injury.’
A coach, a QB and a rebuttal
‘I think it’s safe to say that Mr. Wilson is committed to getting it right with his head coach once and for all. I don’t believe he wants to take a chance with a coach. He wants one that is established with a reputation. I haven’t spoken with him myself, but I’m sure he doesn’t want to go through what he has these past 10 years, which is hiring and firing and hiring and firing.’
Dolphins Game Preview
‘Bills 27, Dolphins 20.’
Sanborn making it look like a snap
‘”It’s better whenever their name is not announced, unless they’re making a tackle. I’m sure if you asked him he’d say the same thing, that he’d rather stay inconspicuous,” Moorman said. “But he’s doing a really good job. He works hard. He’s a perfectionist.”‘
Bradford would be an acceptable answer to Bills’ prayers
‘The top three quarterbacks in next year’s draft figure to be Florida’s Tim Tebow, Texas’ Colt McCoy and Oklahoma’s Sam Bradford. If I’m the Bills, I take Bradford if I have the chance, and never look back.’
Whitner’s return means safety in numbers for Bills
‘"Yeah, I think that would be the best way to describe it," said Whitner, who had started 46 straight games he suited up for until the last two contests. "I didn’t start, but I played most of the game. It was a different feel not starting. I didn’t know why it happened and I haven’t really talked to anyone about it."’
Cowher would be a better fit for Bills
‘Shanahan could be a fit, but Cowher would be a better one. He’s a Pittsburgh guy, and he understands the charm that comes with a hard-working, passionate football town. Show him the same enthusiasm he expects from his players, give him power over all personnel decisions, plus $10 million for the effort, and you just might land him.’
Williams is back in limelight as Dolphins’ feature back
‘He has posted more than 100 yards in each of the last two games, including a 119-yard, three-touchdown (one receiving) effort in a 24-17 win at Carolina. The last time he had back-to-back 100-yard games was the final two contests in 2005.’
Coaching contracts can be structured with an out clause
‘ I expect Bills owner Ralph C. Wilson Jr. would put a clause in the contract of the new coach stating that if the team is sold during the coach’s tenure, the coach has an option to void the deal and still receive the bulk of the money due to him. He also could have a variety of other options available to him. Maybe if he wanted to stay, it would trigger a salary escalator. Or he could adjust the length of the deal.’
Buffalo Bills reshuffle offensive line again
‘”I’ve never seen anything like this,” said center Geoff Hangartner who has pulled off quite a coup thus far. He’s the only Buffalo offensive lineman who has not missed time due to an injury, and has also played the same position in every game.’
Buffalo Bills may have McGee for game against Miami Dolphins
‘McGee had a knee operation performed during the bye week and missed the losses in Tennessee and Jacksonville. There’s a chance he could play against the Dolphins.’
