‘After allowing huge rushing performances in the past few weeks, the Buffalo Bills face a very tall test at stopping the NFL’s leading rusher. If they allow some big runs to the speedy Chris Johnson and get behind early, it’s going to be a very long day for Bills fans.’

Gameday Tipsheet – Week 10
Bills will be keeping fast company on Sunday
‘Because of those big runs Johnson is averaging a whopping 6.7 yards per carry, the highest average for an NFL leader through nine weeks since 1970, according to the league. The last player to win a rushing title while averaging more than 6 yards per carry was Barry Sanders, who had a 6.1 average during his 2,053-yard season in 1997.’
Owens should play Sunday
‘”With a lot of prayer and just rest and treatment I knew I would be ready,” Owens said after practice. “I’ve been in this situation. I know my body better than anybody or any doctor, for that matter. Earlier in the week it was painful. I’m not sure what triggered it, but I did everything today. Ran routes full speed, no pain, no nothing, so I’m good.”‘
Titans’ Kerry Collins, Bills’ Doug Flutie share dark moment
‘For the record, Wiley said the Bills would have beaten the Titans in that playoff game had Flutie started, because the Titans wouldn’t have been close enough to win with a miracle play.’

Bills’ Sargeant visits coast to give back
‘Sargeant personally bought $3,000 worth of turkeys that were then made available through vouchers to families in need of help during the holidays. “One of my teammates on the Bills told me he does this in his hometown,” Sargeant explained. “Demetrius Bell, our starting left tackle, gave me a little background in how to do it. So I called Coach Cross last Thursday and we threw it all together in three days.”‘
Edwards’ concussion: Blessing in disguise?
‘The Stanford product has to be smart enough to realize that his future in Buffalo likely hinges upon the progress he shows over the final eight games. That’s half a season, eight games to either stake his claim as a legitimate franchise quarterback, or become yet another link in the long chain of Jim Kelly’s successors that have failed to stick in Buffalo.’
