‘”Sometimes I think one of the best periods in practice is the walk-thru, the learning,” said Jauron. “We slow it down, talk through certain things, talk about details, certain areas that you don’t have a lot of time to cover in detail at other times. We decided today would be a good day to do it. That’s what we did. We spent the whole time in special teams walk-thru, offense and defense walk-thru, situations.”‘

Bills in a hurry to learn no-huddle offense
‘"I think Trent has done a good job with it," said Alex Van Pelt, Bills quarterbacks coach. "It’s an aspect we targeted that we want to improve on. How much we’ll be in that situation, I don’t know. But it’s great practice, because it makes everyone communicate quickly."’
Bills’ fans continue to show loyalty
‘The problem, therefore, isn’t fans, but rather finance. Bills’ tickets are the NFL’s lowest priced and the team, in a market of declining population and hemorrhaging economy, can’t charge enough to generate the revenue the franchise needs to remain competitive in a league catering to the big-money teams. Hence, the predictions of gloom.’
Florida to drop charge against fullback McIntyre
‘”I just want to say I’m happy my name has been cleared today,” McIntyre said after the Bills’ practice today in Orchard Park. “I have maintained my innocence all through this process and I’m just glad it’s out of the way. I’m sorry for the embarrassment to my family and to the Bills, and now my focus is on training camp.”‘
Minicamp Notes Day 2
‘To this point Bills offensive line coach Sean Kugler is satisfied with the progress of the two rookies. “Both of them are able to adapt to new positions and they have,” said Kugler. “Both are competing for starting positions. Both are doing an excellent job and they’re good in the classroom and workers on the field. Their production has shown up in the team work. Everything we’ve asked of them they’ve done so far and I expect that to continue.” Kugler said he has no reservations about potentially starting two rookies on the offensive line come this fall saying if they earn it they’ll play.’

Bills’ Youboty aims to stay well-healed
‘”I’m just getting back into it, but it feels good being out there,” Youboty said. “I’m not where I want to be yet, but I’m looking forward to being 100 percent.”‘
Owens: It’s coming
‘”I’m getting it down,” Owens said Tuesday after the Bills completed the first of a three-day mandatory minicamp. “The plays are coming to me. I think the time I’ve been here for the OTAs have been very beneficial. I’m picking up everything and I noticed that I’ve gotten better every day. It’s all about repetition and just getting that quality work in.”‘
Minicamp Notes Day 1
‘”For me I have a new offense and new terminology and you’re doing a lot of thinking and you’re processing a lot of stuff so there are some mistakes made,” admitted Owens. “Once I get very comfortable with everything, the signals, the codes, that’s when it will all slow down. Every day has been a work in progress and it’s been good. I’m going to get better with this.”‘
Observations from Bills minicamp
‘The Bills’ offense didn’t huddle once. They spent the entire practice working in a hurry-up format. Quarterback Trent Edwards looked sharp with the first unit, moving methodically up the field and getting the plays off with plenty to spare.’
