Minicamp Notes Day 2
‘To this point Bills offensive line coach Sean Kugler is satisfied with the progress of the two rookies. “Both of them are able to adapt to new positions and they have,” said Kugler. “Both are competing for starting positions. Both are doing an excellent job and they’re good in the classroom and workers on the field. Their production has shown up in the team work. Everything we’ve asked of them they’ve done so far and I expect that to continue.” Kugler said he has no reservations about potentially starting two rookies on the offensive line come this fall saying if they earn it they’ll play.’

‘In follow-up meetings with prosecutors, the victim who initially identified McIntyre as the person masturbating at her home said she never actually saw his genitals and was “unable to give other specifics in reference to her allegation,” said Officer Tom Nichols, police spokesman. “Her statement to prosecutors was questionable,” Nichols said.’

Owens: It’s coming

Every day has been a work in progress and it’s been good. I’m going to get better with this.”‘
Observations from Bills minicamp
‘The Bills’ offense didn’t huddle once. They spent the entire practice working in a hurry-up format. Quarterback Trent Edwards looked sharp with the first unit, moving methodically up the field and getting the plays off with plenty to spare.’

‘"It does slow down a little bit [for veterans] once you know what you’re doing," Owens said. "With me you have a new offense and new terminology. You’re doing a lot of thinking. You’re processing a lot of stuff.’
Bills defense still a work in progress
‘"I like it being unsettled to a certain degree because there’s a lot to strive for," Fewell said. "By no means are we a top 10 defense. By no means are we a dominating force."’
