‘The cornerback contingent for the Bills was pretty short-handed Wednesday. Leodis McKelvin was not participating for undisclosed reasons, but was in attendance. Reggie Corner was filling in for him with the first team defense on the right side. After McGee left practice early with his injury, Drayton Florence stepped in for Buffalo’s top corner.’
Bills CB McGee hurt while defending Owens
‘During team drills, McGee was shadowing Owens up the sideline when the two went up for a pass. Owens initially caught the ball but had it ripped out by McGee. The two then fell to the ground with Owens partially landing on the cornerback.’
Butler set to tackle new job
‘”I have been working with [offensive line] coach [Sean] Kugler every day for 10 or 15 minutes [after practice] continuing to work on my sets,” Butler said. “At tackle, every day it’s sets, sets, sets, sets. When you see a tackle get beat, it’s usually because he had a bad set. It’s something I’m going to continue to have to work at and get better at.”‘
