‘Bills management made it know to Peters months upon months ago that the best way to go about getting a new deal is show up and be a part of the team. The club has reinforced that stance by paying off Evans and Stroud. Peters, meanwhile, plops down and waits.’

Report: Bills sign Stroud to extension
‘The 30-year-old Georgia product collected 45 tackles and 2 1/2 sacks in 16 games for Buffalo in 2008.’
Bills give Stroud a two-year extension
‘Stroud had two years remaining on his contract, which would have paid him $5.5 million ($3.5 in base salary) this year and $6 million in 2010. With the extension, the total deal is worth $29 million over the next four years with $12 million guaranteed, the source said. He’ll be paid $16 million over the next two seasons.’
