If football fans were blessed by having the season start today, this defense would be best off using Poz, naturally and of course, in the middle with DiGiorgio on the weak side and Kawika Mitchell hovering nearer the tight end. That would get the team’s three best current linebackers on the field simultaneously.’

‘After TU, he played eight seasons for the Buffalo Bills before a knee injury ended his career. At Buffalo, Ostroski got to know Kragthorpe, the Bills’ quarterbacks coach. When a head coaching job opened at Tulsa in 2002, he helped in the marriage between Kragthorpe and TU. "Not only did he help me get the job there, but he rallied a lot of former players around the Tulsa area and the country," Kragthorpe said. "He was really instrumental in rekindling the flame for Tulsa football. We would not have been able to do at Tulsa what we were able to do if it was not for Jerry Ostroski."’

‘He is entering his fourth NFL season since being signed by the Bills as an undrafted free agent in 2006. Since then, DiGiorgio has recorded 137 tackles, 2 sacks and one interception.’

‘The officers smelled marijuana and searched the car and its occupants, finding four marijuana cigarettes and an unregistered 9 mm pistol, Tankenson said. Officers were unsure if the drugs belonged to Lynch.’

‘It’s understandable if the Bills want to preserve the situation where the current starter is also the clear-cut best player at his position. Still, Edwards should know that if he, say, keeps throwing as many interceptions as touchdowns, the Bills will be looking for a different type of quarterback in 2010. It won’t his backup but rather his replacement.’
