Jauron understands Bills fans’ ire
‘”I understand their feelings are negative,” he said. “I’m a fan. I certainly have teams I pull for, and the Buffalo Bills are at the top of the list. When we don’t win, I’m not particularly happy.”‘
Jauron understands fans’ frustration
‘”Like all of them we were clearly disappointed in the way our season ended after the way it started,” he said. “We’re working like heck to get us into a position where it doesn’t happen, where we can sustain and play consistent football through the year and fight our way to a playoff spot. That’s what we plan on doing and what we want to do and that’s what they want us to do.”‘
The combine grind
‘”You start in the morning at eight and finish at 11 with very little time in between,” Modrak said. “In no way am I complaining about it, but that’s what it is.”‘
Jauron knows only way to soothe fans is to win
‘"For our Buffalo Bills fans, like all of them, we were disappointed, clearly, in the way our season ended," Jauron said today. "We’re working like heck to get us into a position where it doesn’t happen (again), where we can sustain and play consistent football through a year and fight our way to a playoff spot. That’s what we plan on doing, that’s what we want to do and certainly that’s what they want us to do."’
Bills’ DiGiorgio could deliver as starter
‘Although listed as a middle linebacker due his range, DiGiorgio is more significantly a solid athlete who’s dedicated to toil, qualities which would allow him to flourish at a neighboring address. If football fans were blessed by having the season start today, this defense would be best off using Poz, naturally and of course, in the middle with DiGiorgio on the weak side and Kawika Mitchell hovering nearer the tight end. That would get the team’s three best current linebackers on the field simultaneously.’
‘Jerry-O’: From player to fan to Hall of Fame
‘After TU, he played eight seasons for the Buffalo Bills before a knee injury ended his career. At Buffalo, Ostroski got to know Kragthorpe, the Bills’ quarterbacks coach. When a head coaching job opened at Tulsa in 2002, he helped in the marriage between Kragthorpe and TU. "Not only did he help me get the job there, but he rallied a lot of former players around the Tulsa area and the country," Kragthorpe said. "He was really instrumental in rekindling the flame for Tulsa football. We would not have been able to do at Tulsa what we were able to do if it was not for Jerry Ostroski."’
Bills re-sign LB DiGiorgio
‘He is entering his fourth NFL season since being signed by the Bills as an undrafted free agent in 2006. Since then, DiGiorgio has recorded 137 tackles, 2 sacks and one interception.’
Police: Marijuana smell prompted search of Lynch
‘The officers smelled marijuana and searched the car and its occupants, finding four marijuana cigarettes and an unregistered 9 mm pistol, Tankenson said. Officers were unsure if the drugs belonged to Lynch.’
