‘”I would say so,” Whitner replied grimly. “From the outside looking in, I would say that there was a choking element throughout the middle of this football season. I would honestly say that if I was on the outside looking in. As players, we have to make more plays. It’s frustrating.”‘

Dolphins down Bills 16-3 to win first-ever regular-season NFL game in Canada
‘The announced attendance was 52,134 – which certainly seemed generous – and was short of the 54,000-seat capacity Rogers Centre has for football. On Sunday, the facility didn’t look as full as it was for the exhibition game, which attracted fewer than 49,000 spectators.’
Bills Fall to Miami 16-3 in Toronto
‘The Bills had a chance to score late in third, but J.P Losman under-threw Lee Evans in the end zone, which resulted in a Will Allen interception. The Bills haven’t scored a touchdown since the win in Kansas City on November 23rd.’
Offense A Total Disaster Again
‘Where do we begin? To a man after the game the players seemed a loss of words and have no idea what is happening. The blame for that is squarely on the head coach if they don’t know what is wrong. Dick Jauron’s days in Buffalo are probably coming to an end contract or no contract extension. Turk Schonert will be gone as well. Why throw it on first and goal from the 3? Another failed replay challenge? Only 13 carries from Lynch? It’s unbelievable. At least they didn’t waste any timeouts this week. Perry Fewell did some good things as he used three safeties a lot to defend the wildcat and he was effective with it. His unit can’t do it alone. Grade F: It’s time to blow this thing up once again.’
Immediate Reactions: Miami 16, Buffalo 3
‘At least the game in Toronto was a horrific embarrassment for everyone, and I was able to laugh a lot.’
Dolphins Whip Listless Bills 16-3
‘The final score wasn’t an indication how badly the Bills were outplayed especially when they had the football.’
Miami 16, Buffalo 3
‘Losman was also the club’s leading rusher, with 53 yards, as Buffalo continued to tumble since its hot start to the season. The Bills opened the campaign 5-1 but have gone 1-6 since to further cement their last-place status in the division. Rian Lindell’s 40-yard field goal provided the only offense for Buffalo.’
Bills offense dismal again in loss to Miami
‘The Bills set a season low in total net yards with 163 as they eclipsed their season low at New England in week 10 (168 yards). They went 1-10 on third down conversions and made just one trip to the red zone where they turned the ball over on an interception in the end zone. Buffalo has not scored a touchdown in two games and has lost six of their last seven.’
Dolphins win over Toronto fans, beat Bills 16-3
‘Chad Pennington and the Miami Dolphins took advantage of an indifferent Bills “home” crowd, an inept Buffalo offense and the cozy indoors of the Rogers Centre to stay firmly in playoff contention.’
