‘Bills 27, Jets 17.’

‘Butler sprained his left knee in the first half of Buffalo’s win over San Diego two weeks ago. Schobel injured a ligament and bone in his left foot against Arizona on Oct. 5. Jason Whittle will get the start for Butler and Ryan Denney will replace Schobel.’

‘Reed, who wore a walking boot all week, was not expected to play. It expected that Roscoe Parrish will start and that James Hardy will be the team’s third receiver. As for who will serve in Josh Reed’s role, it’s believed that Justin Jenkins and rookie Steve Johnson will fill it as a duo Sunday.’

‘”I try to go out there every week and hang out with them,” McCargo said. “They’re overcoming obstacles in life at an early age that most of us don’t even have to deal with so I go there and just try to challenge them to beat their addiction and any type of support I can give I’m going to do it.”‘

‘”Our goal is to help underprivileged kids in Cleveland, Buffalo and Columbus, all the communities I’ve been a part of in my life. I’m a product of a single-parent household: My dad spent a lot of time in prison. So we target kids who came from that same kind of predicament. We get them school clothes, backpacks and school supplies. We have turkey giveaways. I’ve done some things where we help out single moms, like sending them to a spa for an entire day. With single dads, we take them to the (Cleveland) Cavaliers game.”‘

‘"I’d been in the same offence pretty much my whole career and coming here was totally different," said Favre, 39. "The terminology was totally different. The concepts are totally different.
