‘The matchup will require the Titans offense to grind it out. That means Bills exile Travis Henry’s number will be on speed dial today. Since Week 4, the Titans have averaged 158.3 yards on the ground.’

Henry back in Buffalo
‘Henry has been solid, too, with five 100-yard rushing games since starting in Game 5. He leads the team with seven TDs. He is running as well as he did in Buffalo. “It feels good, man, considering what kind of card I got dealt there,” Henry said.’

‘It’s not a holiday miracle, but David Kausch just might be the luckiest Bills fan around.’
Henry back where he started
‘”It was for a little bit, but it’s all behind me,” Henry said. “I had great teammates there. London [Fletcher], Takeo [Spikes], Nate Clements and Aaron Schobel – those guys who came in and a couple of guys that aren’t there anymore. I don’t have any bitterness to nobody because I’m still cool with those guys. The front office people that made the changes are no longer there, so I’m just happy to come back to Buffalo and play against my old teammates.”‘
Bills are resembling 1987 upstarts
‘”I don’t know what it looks like to everybody else, but we’ve always felt that we’ve been really, really close,” said quarterback J.P. Losman. “We lost close games that we thought we should’ve won. Our confidence level has always been there for quite some time. We felt that we’ve been a good team for a long time, we just had to learn how to pull out some close wins, some close games. We’re definitely starting to do that a little bit now.”‘
Bills blacked out for good reasons
‘To what extent we don’t know, but the success of the NHL Buffalo Sabres has hurt the Bills at the box office. In a stagnant economy, some people in western New York have been attending more Sabres games and fewer Bills games. The Sabres have sold out all 16 home games this season. Capacity is 18,690. Through 16 home games last year, the average crowd was 15,882.’
McGahee marches on
‘”He’s just a tough guy,” offensive coordinator Steve Fairchild said. “He loves to play. I think guys feed off it because he gets back in there. He’s having a heck of a year despite these injuries.”‘
Holidays extend to Jan. 2 for local Bills Fans
‘The Nate Clements Show will be taped at 7 p.m. Jan. 2 at Attitudes, 616 West Ave., which is owned by avid Lockport sports fan Bob Soemann. Soemann said Clements’ production company guaranteed one of three Bills players as Clements’ host – either Pro Bowler Aaron Schobel, quarterback J.P. Losman or running back Willis McGahee. Seats will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, Soemann said.’
Losman starts to garner national attention
‘The secret might be starting to get out: J.P. Losman might have actually turned the corner as an NFL quarterback. At least that’s the thought of Foxsports.com writer Michael Lazarus.’
Bills’ special teams amid resurgence
‘The Bills currently rank among the top five in three of the four primary special-teams categories. Last season, they were among the top 10 in all four, and the year before that, they were in the top five in three of the four. “Bobby April with us does a terrific job with our guys and they work at it,” Jauron said. “I do believe it’s like offense and defense or any position. You have to have talented people. Then you have to coach them. They’ve done a real nice job.”‘
Titans’ Buffalo memories include eggs, garbage
‘The Titans return to Buffalo on Sunday for the first time in the regular season since Sept. 3, 2000. That was just nine months after the Music City Miracle, when the Titans beat the Bills in an AFC wild-card game on Frank Wycheck’s controversial lateral to Kevin Dyson, who raced 75 yards for a touchdown. Olson and Hentrich are the only two Titans still on the roster from that day. Guard Zach Piller, currently on injured reserve, was also on that team.’
Moorman helps kids with cancer
‘Moorman does more than just make Christmas cards. Every Tuesday, his day off, he visits kids at Roswell Park Cancer Institute—and his generosity doesn’t end there. Chuck Collard/Carly’s Club Co-Founder: “Brian, with the help of his foundation, purchased a luxury box for the patients and families of Carly’s Club. We’ve taken 35 families to games this year and everybody came out and had a good time.”‘

Wilson sees bleak future for the Bills
‘He’s an elderly man who’s tired and frustrated and needs somebody else to take up the fight. But his goal remains for the Bills to survive and thrive here, though their future is bleak.’
