‘On making anything out of this game being JP’s 16th NFL start, should we expect more from him now – “Each player develops at different times and you can not just say that it is all JP’s fault because it isn’t. I think that we have to look at ourselves and be critical of some of the mistakes that we have been making as individuals and then as a unit before you can blame anything on JP. I think he has done a heck of a job; he has continued to go and work hard in practice and try to grow as a quarterback. And hopefully starting with this game right here you will see what he is capable of. I think he is a heck of a quarterback, just like the rest of the teammates.”‘

‘On what to expect from him this week – “I expect to see him run around the field and make a lot of plays. I know that some people say that he started off slow up there. But he is really starting to pick it up now, I think he had 12 tackles or something like that two weeks ago, I do not know how many he had last week, but that is the AJ I know, so I am expecting to see him make a lot of plays.”‘
Willis McGahee
‘On gauging in practice if the changes to the line helped – “It is coming along good so far, but you do not really know until game time. We are playing against each other, our team mates so we are not going out there trying to kill each other so we will find out at game time how that goes.”‘
JP Losman
‘On the chemistry of the team coming off the bye week – I feel that the chemistry is there as far as getting things recognized with talking and communication. I’m sure that new positions are going to bring different changes that you can’t practice. These guys are going to find out on Sunday. We feel good, we feel confident, and we have to feel this way and stay positive and believe in each other. I have to believe in them like they believe in me. That’s the way it has to work.’

‘On being 2-5 where is confidence level of team and did bye help refresh – “Yes, we were able to refresh, regroup and get together and talk about what is at hand, understand; not only where we are at but to understand and look at the whole big picture of seeing where everybody is at. There are not a lot of teams that have one loss or two losses, so with saying that we still realize that our season is a long way from being over with. We realize that we have to get on the run, but before you can go and talk about being on the run you have to take care of the first game what is coming up, which is Green Bay.”‘
London Fletcher-Baker
‘On what progress was dealt with during bye week – “Looking at the bye week practices we went back to a lot of good fundamental work. Working on us, really looking at it and self-scouting how we preformed in those previous seven ball games. How much we have improved or how much was addressed? I don’t know, because you do not know until Sunday. We have had good practices in the past and still not preformed on Sunday. So we just need to go out there and carry over from the bye week and this week in practice and on Sunday have a good performance.”‘
Head Coach Dick Jauron
‘On the offensive line switch and the confidence of Jason Peters – There will be a learning curve there obviously. He has played left tackle before, but he played it the year before, not this year. It’s not brand new, but it’s new this year. There will be some learning. We’ve had three real good practices last week with him and a good practice Monday with him. That’s not a lot of time, but the guys are familiar with each other in terms of working together and communicating. I have a lot of faith in Jason, but I’m not saying you’ll see the finished product this Sunday. He’ll do a real decent job with real good players to play against. It will be a test for him. Jason is a unique athlete and as I said, I have a lot of confidence in what he’ll do.’
Green Bay (3-4) at Buffalo (2-5)
‘The Bills are trying to stay positive despite posting the third-lowest point total in the NFL (100).’
Defensive Ends a Bright Spot in Season’s First Half
‘Responsible for 13 of the team’s 21 sacks on the year, the defensive ends are largely the reason the team ranks third in the league in sacks per pass play and stands tied for third in the AFC in team sacks with Baltimore.’
Whitner glad for break from non-stop football
‘”The first year is tough and it’s almost like playing two seasons in one,” Whitner said. “Last year I went straight from camp at Ohio State to the season to training for the NFL Combine to the [organized team activities]. You really don’t get any rest.”‘
Bills to shift press box, add prime seats
‘The press box would be moved to the Red Zone Club, which is located in the corner of the tunnel end zone, in the corner closer to the Bills bench.’

N.Y. cops probing Bills mob blitz of Pats fan
‘In an e-mail to the Herald, a spokesman for the Bills organization, Scott Berchtold, said he sent a copy of yesterday’s Herald story to their “Operations/Security Department and they are in the fact-finding process surrounding this alleged incident.” The couple’s attorney, Daniel Moynihan, said he sent the Bills organization a letter yesterday. “It says that we’re putting them on notice of injuries that were sustained as a result of their negligence,” Moynihan said.’
