‘Playing in just five games since the end of 2004, Spikes has to prove his durability for the first time. “It’s hard just because a lot of stuff that I have done in the past came naturally,” he said. “I still work on some things, but the hardest thing is not being able to work on them. If you ever have an injury playing football, you want to have it in the upper extremity. When you hurt your leg, hamstrings, ankles, you pretty much can’t do anything as far as working on extra technique.”‘
