Buffalo Bills Report Card
Special teams (A+): Two of the biggest plays of the game came from the kicking teams in the third quarter, which is nothing new for the Bills. Then Coy Wire blocked a Miami punt and Andre Davis recovered the ball at the Miami 17. Rian Lindell made all three of his field goals, and Brian Moorman had five punts inside the 20-yard-line, four inside the 10.

Buffalo’s baby-faced D outplays Miami’s ‘contender’
‘The Bills drafted Whitner with the eighth overall pick of the April draft, and when they did, eyes opened wide around the league. How in the heck could a team in need of so much take a safety from Ohio State in the first round? Two games in, we’re starting to see why.’
Bills Postgame Quotes
‘”Our guys did a terrific job today and in preparation for today’s game. Not turning the ball over was huge for us. Our defense played a terrific game. We pressured them when we needed it, we contained the run somewhat, but our defense played a terrific game. We were effective running today Willis (McGahee) got off to a great start and might have surprised them a little bit. Our kicking game today was outstanding. Brian Moorman pinned the Dolphins deep and Rian (Lindell) continues to knock them through. This was a great win for our football team.”‘
