Hunter Makes the Most of his Cincy Start
‘Hunter appeared to perform well as he finished his two quarters of action with four tackles. Two of those stops came on successive plays when Buffalo was defending their goal line late in the second quarter. On first-and-goal from the Bills one-yard line Hunter and Jabari Greer dropped Bengals running back Quincy Wilson for no gain. On second-and-goal from the one, Hunter against stopped Wilson for no gain with some help from Jim Leonhard.’
Lee Evans After Practice
‘On the importance of timing with JP Losman: It’s definitely been a process, but the more comfortable he is, the more comfortable we as receivers are. (The Receivers) have to do what we’ve got to do to get in the places we need to be to make him comfortable. That’s the process, to get him comfortable and be where we’re supposed to be so (Losman) can make his reads accordingly. If we can do that then we’ll go a long way.’
