‘Each day, Jauron’s been asked if he’s ready to name a starter. And each day, he’s provided much the same answer: "No, not yet."’

Bills QB Nall hurts hamstring
‘”We’re hoping it’s nothing significant, but we won’t know for a couple of days,” said Jauron.’
Dick Jauron Afternoon Practice Quotes
‘Craig obviously did something to his hamstring; we’re not certain exactly what it is. He’s inside, we’ll check with our trainers. We probably won’t know that much more tomorrow and it won’t matter anyway because we’re just walking through tomorrow. We’ll certainly find out something on Monday because that’s when we practice again, it will be our first padded practice. We’re hoping it’s nothing significant, but we really won’t know for a couple of days.’
Nall Tweaks Hamstring
‘He did not take another snap the rest of the practice session and left the field under his own power to the locker room before the team workout was over.’
Nall Injures Hamstring In Afternoon Practice

First Day Impressions at Bills Camp
‘Dick Jauron is allowing our photographers to shoot the practices, and I mean ALL of the practices with no restrictions. Last year, our shooting was very limited, which is a shame for the fans, who would often miss a nice play on our local sportscasts because of it.’
Top draft pick Whitner not in camp yet
‘Rookie Ashton Youboty, another Ohio State defensive back, suffered an ankle injury that was not considered to be serious.’
Day Two Practice Notes
‘The reps again were relatively even among the quarterbacks. Kelly Holcomb was short a rep in the first set of 11-on-11 team work. The coaching staff mixed up the rotation a bit in terms of how many reps per guy. On day one through a 21-play session it was mostly three reps and rotate out. They did that twice through and then on the last three plays they’d each get one play apiece.’
Dick Jauron Morning Practice Quotes
‘On dividing the quarterback reps out equally: We are and that is sort of the plan to let them go and compete and it will take a while. I don’t really have any indication on how long but hopefully somebody is going to rise up and clearly be the guy and just keep moving in that direction. It will get harder as we go. If somebody doesn’t take it because we’ve pointed it out a number of times and we’ve talked about you only have a certain number of reps. It’s hard to divide them by three until somebody is ready as you want them to be.’
Gibson Tries Hand at Guard
‘"The reason we moved him inside is we have a number of tackles," said offensive line coach Jim McNally. "We wanted to give Dylan McFarland and Brad Butler the opportunity to get reps there. Aaron has had the experience of playing tackle so we’re interested to see if there’s more he can do."’
Threesome drills on even terms
‘”Everybody wants to earn it,” Losman said following practice Friday morning at St. John Fisher College. “It’s competition week in and week out. That’s what the players want to see. That’s what coaches want to see. They want to see people earn it. And that’s what it’s all about.”‘
McCargo signs, takes first steps as a Bill
‘The deal is expected to pay him about $8.5 million, but could be worth up to $11.7 million if incentives are attained.’
The Billboard
‘”It was a little bit different because guys would come to camp to get in shape sometimes in those days and maybe we had to because there was no limit on when you could report.” – Jauron on how NFL training camp has changed since he was a player.’
Price happy to be back in Western New York
‘”Dallas was definitely a learning experience,” he said. “I wasn’t a (Dallas coach Bill) Parcells’ guy.”‘
Whitner remains missing
‘”It’s not much different than what it was (Thursday),” Levy said. “Jim (Overdorf) is still in contact with the agent. I haven’t talked with Jim since this morning. I don’t know if he’s spoken with him (Friday) or not. I hope it’s close. I think it’s close.”‘
