‘Buffalo’s top personnel men under fired general Tom Donahoe – assistant GM Tom Modrak and pro personnel director John Guy – appear safe in their jobs for 2006. With the college draft and free agency around the corner, it’s important that the Bills maintain continuity, at least for this off-season, even though Modrak and Guy must share in Buffalo’s 31-49 record since 2001.’

‘Jauron cited the winning tradition in Buffalo and said his goal is to get the franchise back to that tradition. He said the first step is hiring a staff and then begin evaluating the team’s personnel. Jauron said the schemes the team will run have to be dictated by personnel.’

‘Jauron comes to Buffalo from a stint in Detroit as the Lions’ defensive coordinator, but he is no stranger to the Bills. Jauron started his coaching career in Buffalo over twenty years ago as a defensive backs coach before moving on to other jobs around the league.’
