‘With 1,134 rushing yards, Willis McGahee has already eclipsed his rushing total from a year ago when he had 1,128. The second-year running back, however, has taken a step backwards when it comes to scoring — reaching the end zone just five times this season compared to 13 in 2004.’

Bills players beginning to back Holcomb
‘Holcomb has more wins and better numbers than Losman this season. And don’t think his teammates haven’t noticed.’
Bills LB Crowell signs contract extension
‘Crowell, Buffalo’s third-round pick in the 2003 draft out of Virginia, was eligible to become a restricted free agent this offseason.’
Bills sign LB Crowell to contract extension
‘Buffalo Bills linebacker Angelo Crowell, who has played well in the absence of the injured Takeo Spikes, was signed to a contract extension by the club on Wednesday.’
Bills give Crowell extension
‘In his third year, the 6-foot-1, 235-pound Crowell stepped into the starting rotation nicely after fellow LB Takeo Spikes went down with a ruptured right Achilles’ tendon. The injury caused Spikes to miss the rest of the season.’
Crowell Signs Extension, Mularkey Won’t Name QB
‘Mularkey commented on Willis McGahee, saying the star running back has not regressed. The coach also reinforced that he has confidence in his defense, saying that Lawyer Milloy and London Fletcher have played great all year, and that safety Rashad Baker has been a victim of the numbers game, not poor play.’
Losman Future On Hold
‘”We brought in Kelly for a reason, because of his experience, his playing time, his playoff experience, all the things he brings to the table as a veteran, a proven veteran,” head coach Mike Mularkey said. “With J.P. he’s a guy that’s still trying to take steps towards being that quarterback we know he can be.”‘
Bills Sign Crowell to Extension
‘In accordance with club policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.’
McGee Earns Player of the Week Honors
‘"It felt great," said McGee. "I thought I was going to go the entire year without returning one so to get one in the end zone felt real good."’
Johnson, Porter and McGee named AFC’s top players
‘Kansas City Chiefs running back Larry Johnson, Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Joey Porter and Buffalo Bills returner Terrence McGee were honored as the AFC’s top players for Week 16 of the NFL season.’
Bills fans unhappy with team stifling their frustrations
‘”Just because the management and coaching is awful, where do they get off violating our First Amendment right to freedom of speech?” Allenbaugh wrote. “From now on, if you go to a sporting event, sit in your seat and don’t make a noise until the front office says you can.”‘
Bills’ low-impact 2005 draft has hurt their season
‘By no means am I degrading the Bills’ draft or saying that none of these guys will ever be solid players in the NFL. For all I know, they could all turn into Hall-of-Famers and Donahoe could look like a genius. The only thing I’m belittling the Bills for is the fact that none of these six men have had any impact on the 2005 season. What if one or two had turned into impact rookies? Maybe the Bills’ 5-10 mark would currently sit at a respectable 7-8, or better.’
Buffalo will not have top-five pick
‘The Bills, who return to practice today, will have between the sixth and 14th picks overall in the 2006 draft. They are the 20th-ranked team in the NFL through the first 15 games. If the season ended today, they would have the 12th pick in the draft based on record and tiebreakers.’
Bills vs Jets Preview
When the schedule came out back in April this game looked like it could be played with a playoff spot on the line for one or both teams. It didn’t work out that way. The Bills have had a very disappointing 5-10 seasons where they have made many mental mistakes along the way and folded when the games got tough.
