‘Can Tom Donahoe really be faulted for taking Williams? It’s hard to say. He was universally being considered a top five pick and if Donahoe didn’t pull the trigger, the next GM in line who needed offensive line help would have. Four picks later, the Minnesota Vikings selected left tackle Bryant McKinnie. Donahoe easily could have chosen him but McKinnie expressed that he didn’t have much interest in coming to Buffalo since he went to college at the University of Miami. However, if you watched this past Monday’s game, you could see that McKinnie has become a dominating force on the line. It’s unfortunate for Donahoe and the Bills that they lost out on a potential all-pro and took a player who has turned into a wreck.’
