‘As for any thoughts on how he was burned uncharacteristically for two touchdowns in a 48-10 loss at San Diego last weekend? “Don’t need to comment on it,” Clements said. “It’s over with.”‘

Minter, Panthers face tough trip
‘"They’re doing what they need to do at home," said Minter of the Bills, who limited the Kansas City Chiefs to three points in their last home contest. "They’re a talented football team. They have (Willis) McGahee at running back, (Eric) Moulds at wide receiver, and I’m not sure which quarterback we’ll get, but it looks like these guys can move the ball up and down the field. They’re going to give (McGahee) the ball. They’ve been giving it to him 25-30 times a game, so we’ll have to try to contain him as much as possible. They have a great receiving corps, too. They’re throwing it outside and throwing deep balls."’
Johnson wins Coach of the Week
‘Coach Bill Johnson of McKinley High School has been named the Buffalo Bills High School Football “Coach of the Week” for the eleventh weekend of the 2005 season (November 11-12).’
Bills-Panthers Statistical Match Up
‘The Bills are 0-3 against NFC opponents this season.’
Bills fans shouldn’t be thankful for their right tackle
‘Can Tom Donahoe really be faulted for taking Williams? It’s hard to say. He was universally being considered a top five pick and if Donahoe didn’t pull the trigger, the next GM in line who needed offensive line help would have. Four picks later, the Minnesota Vikings selected left tackle Bryant McKinnie. Donahoe easily could have chosen him but McKinnie expressed that he didn’t have much interest in coming to Buffalo since he went to college at the University of Miami. However, if you watched this past Monday’s game, you could see that McKinnie has become a dominating force on the line. It’s unfortunate for Donahoe and the Bills that they lost out on a potential all-pro and took a player who has turned into a wreck.’
Clements ready to climb back in saddle
‘”I can’t wait,” Clements said. “Last week was a bad day for me, but the good thing about this league is you always have another opportunity to get back out there and compete and get the job done.”‘
McGahee learns advantage of quiet confidence
‘”Any time you can find a motivating tool you’re going to use that to your advantage and I told that to Willis,” Mularkey said. “I don’t think it was to boast. I think he believes he’s that good. Just don’t say it.”‘
Chargers are rolling, but playoffs are tall order
‘How much of a cap hit will it be for the Bills if they cut Mike Williams and Eric Moulds after this season?’
Panthers really not overly concerned about weather in Buffalo
‘”Last week we got 18 inches of snow,” Vincent said. “I’m outside cleaning off my mini-van and there is this truck that pulls up right beside me to pick up Roscoe Parrish. I’m looking over, and this truck has been sitting there for about 15-20 minutes. I’m wondering if Roscoe is coming out, if everything is okay, so I go over and I look at the blinds and I see some eyes looking through the blinds. I’m wondering what’s wrong and they say that he won’t come outside. I’m like, ‘What do you mean he won’t come outside?’ and they say that he’s scared of the snow. Then it dawned on me that he’s from Miami and it was the first time he’d ever seen snow. So his first sight of snow was 18 inches on the ground. He never came outside. If he has to play in it, he may not show up to the game. You wouldn’t think that a person would respond that way, but he wouldn’t come outside.”‘
Bills sellout streak intact
‘Toyota and the Bills will donate the remaining tickets for Sunday’s game to the Boys and Girls Club of Buffalo, the Northwest Buffalo Community Center, Make-A Wish and local military personnel.’
Bills are aware of what Carolina brings
‘After breaking his left fibula in the 2004 season opener against Green Bay and missing the rest of the year, Smith is back in 2005, better than ever, and based on the numbers, better than any receiver in the game. Smith comes to Buffalo to face the Bills Sunday as the NFL leader in receptions (72), receiving yards (1,106) and receiving TDs (9).’
Bills are no match for angry Panthers
‘Carolina 28, Buffalo 10.’
