‘Tim Euhus is still trying to get stronger nad has a chance to play Sunday. It’s not looking good for Mike Williams or Coy Wire. Both are game-time decisions. Lawyer Milloy has the cast of his thumb, but refused to talk about it.’

‘Bills defensive tackle Ron Edwards will probably miss the rest of the year after having surgery on his injured right shoulder earlier this week, coach Mike Mularkey said Friday. The Bills haven’t placed him on injured reserve.’

‘That fervent level of hate toward the Dolphins just doesn’t seem to be there any longer.’

‘Meyer Snow Plow invited employees and customers to participate in a Football Skills Competition at Ralph Wilson Stadium earlier this week. The contestants were split into different groups and rotated between four different events. The skill events included punting for distance, catching punts, throwing for distance and throwing for accuracy.’

‘The Dolphins have improved on the offensive end with quarterback Gus Frerotte and top draft pick Ronnie Brown at running back, are relatively healthy and more disciplined under Saban.’

Maybe the Buffalo Bills are doing J.P. Losman a favor by sitting him on Sunday.

‘I just feel there is no chance what so ever that this is a playoff team. Both their offensive and defensive lines are worse than last year when the Bills turned a 0-4 record into 9-7. With that in mind,the Bills are missing an opportunity to get Losman 16 games under his belt.’

‘If Buffalo establishes the run early, it should open up the pass for Kelly Holcomb and the rest of the Bills’ offense. It is imperative that Holcomb utilizes Buffalo’s two best receivers, Eric Moulds and Lee Evans. Both are big-time playmakers but have not gotten the ball enough this season. They have combined for just 18 catches, 194 yards, and no touchdowns in the team’s first four games. Much of that can be attributed to a bad game plan by the Bills’ offensive coaching staff, as well as the struggles of J.P. Losman. However, it’s hard for me to believe that Holcomb will fare too much better than Losman if the line doesn’t step up. Holcomb could be in trouble since he doesn’t possess the same mobility as Losman. However, if the Bills’ line gives Holcomb sufficient time, expect him to pick apart Miami’s 19th ranked pass defense. Their top two defensive backs, Sam Madison and Lance Schulters, need to step up this week.’
