‘Last week, head coach Dom Capers said that everything this Sunday will start with the Bills’ defense. The unit returns 10 starters from last year’s squad. After four preseason games, the Bills’ defense hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down.’

Bills vs. Texans Preview

The Bills have turned the reigns of the team over to J.P. Losman. He will have the luxury of a power running game, a great defense, and solid special teams units. Optimism runs high in Houston as the Texans finished last year with their best record ever, 7-9.

WR Reed determined to show Bills were right in keeping him

‘Reed’s role is still not entirely secure. His future will depend on how quickly rookie second-round draft pick Roscoe Parrish returns after having surgery to repair a right wrist injury he hurt in training camp. Parrish, who turned heads with his speed and catching ability before he was hurt, is expected to miss at least the first month of the season.’

OT McFarland among eight players signed to Bills practice squad

‘McFarland, who appeared in two games last year, was among the final players the Bills cut on Saturday. Other notables making the squad were guard Jasen Esposito and defensive end Constantin Ritzmann, who both spent time with the Bills last year and were also among the players cut Saturday.’
