‘”I just need to stay focused and keep going,” said Lee, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Lee of Brunswick. “I know the team has a couple more cuts upcoming, but I’m not really worried about that. My goal is just to become the best that I can be and then put the rest in God’s hands.”‘

Join us in the Chat Room tonight!
Last week we had over 98 fans in the chat room discussing the game! Don’t miss out this week as the Packers roll into town and face off against the Bills in the second preseason game of 2005!
Bills take second looks at RBs
‘”It’s pretty close,” Mularkey said. “The scrimmage (against the Packers on Aug. 5) was a good indicator, but they’ll get a fair amount of playing time when we get into these games. We’ll switch them up so they’re playing against equal talent. We’ll get a better chance to see what they can do as these games unfold.”‘
Favre not-so-eager for another look at Bills
‘”It’s stuff that’s difficult to pick up,” Favre said. “We had the right guys to pick up some of their blitzes, but we didn’t because of their scheme and how they hit their blitzes. You watch them and you know just that little edge that guy took made it that much more difficult on (fullback) William (Henderson) to pick up this block. And that was a challenge for us. It will be for real Saturday. Not a regular-season game, but it will be a challenge for us.”‘
Packers will be bombarded by the blitz
‘The goal this preseason is to overwhelm the Houston Texans, whom the Bills host in the regular season opener on Sept. 11, with things they have to scout and prepare for. “Our packages are so thorough, I feel that by the time we get through with the preseason, Houston won’t be able to sit back and prepare for just one thing,” Spikes said.’
QB Holcomb eases into familiar role
‘”I’m as competitive as anyone and would love to be playing, but my main goal at this stage of my career is to be with a winner,” he said during a break from preparations for tonight’s 6 o’clock exhibition game against the Green Bay Packers at Ralph Wilson Stadium. “We did a lot of losing in Cleveland and that got real old.”‘
Packers prep for Bills’ blitzes
‘”We’re still not really game planning, but we’re looking at it, that’s for sure,” center Mike Flanagan said. “We wouldn’t want to put up another number like eight sacks.”‘

‘Losman also said that Saturday’s contest will be another opportunity to get rid of the nerves that accompany any first-year starting quarterback. “I hope so,” he said. “I come out here to practice and I’m fine. I remember when I first started practicing it took me a couple of days to get warmed up and now it’s like second nature to me. So I’m just waiting for that game opportunity for me. Hopefully it doesn’t take a whole quarter to get warmed up.”‘
