Bills release Prioleau
‘It appears the Bills also might eventually release Coy Wire, another of their backup safeties. An escalator in his contract that went into effect this year brings his base salary from $455,000 to $1.43 million, according to union records. His release would save $975,000.’

‘Prioleau started 24 games over three years for Buffalo including all 16 games in 2002. The six year veteran began his career in San Fransico.’
Bills release S Prioleau; re-sign TE Neufeld
‘Prioleau’s agent, Brian Mackler, said Buffalo offered his client a new three-year deal, which included restructuring the final year of his current contract. But Prioleau turned it down, hoping to find a better opportunity with another team. Mackler described the Bills’ offer as fair, but Prioleau was willing to explore his options after being relegated to mostly special teams last season. After starting a career-high 16 games with Buffalo in 2002, Prioleau had only two starts last season.’
