‘The two lawmakers admit their request to the Bills could open a Pandora’s Box. “We fully understand that this appropriation is mandated under the lease and any failure on the part of the county to fund this appropriation would nullify the agreement,” they wrote in a Feb. 28 letter to Bill Munson, Bills vice president of operation. “It is not our intention to challenge or nullify the previously signed agreement; however, as Erie County Legislators we must make every inquiry into possible expenditure reductions that will aide us in balancing our 2005 budget.”‘
