‘Williams has played good football the past seven weeks, and line coach Jim McNally says the right tackle has become an asset on the offense. "It seems like everybody’s got the wrong opinion of Mike," McNally said. "I’m not going to overplay it. But he’s doing it. He’s getting it done. I think he’s got a bad rap."’

Thomas’ absence may aid run game
‘The Dolphins rank 29th in the NFL against the run this season.’
Face to face with the toughest opponent
‘A few days before training camp, I received a telephone call from our team internist, Joseph Armenia. He told me that he had some concern about the score of my PSA test that had been administered as part of my yearly physical. When I told Dr. Armenia that I didn’t know the PSA from the college board SAT exams, he explained that the PSA was a procedure used to detect prostate cancer. He suggested that I have a biopsy to determine whether there actually was cancer present. The biopsy verified that there was.’
Shelton serves up ‘pancakes’ for the Bills
‘McGahee has topped 100 yards in five of his six NFL starts, and while the offensive line has been given credit for its improved play of late, McGahee is quick to remind that Shelton has played an equally integral role in the Bills’ recent success running the ball. “He’s like the unsung hero of the team right now,” said McGahee. “He’s been phenomenal as far as blocking. He didn’t get a lot of credit, but I try to recognize him every time I see it. He’s plugging all the time.”‘
McGahee runs home
‘Most NFL observers questioned why the Bills would draft damaged goods with their 23rd pick, especially when they had Travis Henry, who had gained 1,438 yards with 10 touchdowns in his second season. No one is second-guessing now.’
Odds defied, McGahee returns
‘Robert Bronstein, an orthopedic surgeon at Strong Medical Center in Rochester, N.Y., said 30 or 40 years ago, doctors would have considered amputating McGahee’s leg.’
Blitzes still haunt Miami
‘There’s no question the Buffalo Bills will blitz the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. The only question is how many times will the Bills do it, and will the Dolphins’ offensive line ever be able to stop it?’

Bills’ faith in McGahee paying off
‘Donahoe took heat for the move, and it didn’t make sense. There was a chance there to pull off a steal, and Donahoe not only recognized it, he took advantage of it. Now, he and the Bills look like geniuses.’
Inside slant
‘”A lot of things have to happen outside of what we’re doing (to make the playoffs),” Mularkey admitted. “We can only control what happens on Sunday’s with our opponent. But that’s what we’re in it for (to win a championship) and nothing has changed since last March with that.”‘
Strategy and personnel
‘This one will boil down to Football 101 for the Bills – run and stop the run.’
Notes, quotes
‘McGahee, still rehabilitating a severe knee injury and second on depth chart behind Travis Henry when the NFL schedule came out last spring, swears he didn’t circle this game on his calendar. “I didn’t know what would happen as far as my playing time, so I didn’t circle any games,” he said. “But my whole family will be there. Basically, everybody in Miami.”‘
Bills’ Henry out indefinitely
‘It’s the same leg Henry hurt in Week 11 of last season, when he suffered a hairline break just above his ankle. Henry, though, did not miss a game and had his second consecutive 1,300-yard rushing season.’
Henry’s Leg Is Not Broken
‘It’s possible it could be a high ankle sprain, but Mularkey did not want to divulge any information. Mularkey says he’s hopeful it’s not a season ending injury. Henry is out for Sunday in Miami.’
Buffalo Bills vs. Miami Dolphins
‘Two wins in a row on the road? That hasn’t happend in two years. Here’s why it will this week.;
