Szabo missing out on rivalry
‘Today is the annual Army-Navy football game in Philadelphia, a game that once meant the world to Szabo during his days in the early 1960s at the Naval Academy. But while the Midshipmen and Cadets are going at each other this afternoon – as fiercely, by the way, as Michigan and Ohio State or Auburn and Alabama ever have – Szabo will not be paying attention. “I won’t be able to see it because we’ll be flying to Miami,” Szabo said of the Bills’ trip to South Florida for Sunday’s game against the Dolphins.’
